RAWQ members benefit from being part of a community of people interested in improving the vitality of the English-speaking community in the region.
RAWQ creates opportunities for dialogue among citizens about issues that are of concern to the English-speaking community and to the community as a whole. We provide a strong, recognized and representative voice for the concerns of our members and our community.
Members are encouraged to engage in RAWQ advocacy initiatives that have a direct effect on all levels of government with regard to its English-speaking citizens.
Members enjoy input to and benefit from a variety of activities and resources such as RAWQ's ebulletins, newsletters and office services.
Your commitment through membership, financial support and/or committee involvement is what makes West Quebecers an effective resource and a credible voice for our community. Join today and encourage your friends and neighbors to support us. This is your community association.
RAWQ programs are strengthened by individuals and businesses that contribute professional expertise, space and other developmental support resources.
You could volunteer to help with such things as special events, office work, media research, decorating or mail-outs. Opportunities exist for becoming a board member, donating resources, hosting a training event or providing professional services.
Please contact the Administration and Communications Officer to discuss opportunities for community involvement. Previous not-for-profit certification credentials or experience assisting not-for-profit are helpful, though not required.
